Design
The 2024 Suburban is so roomy that even occupants in the second and third rows won’t be cramped. The tri-zone climate control system provides maximum comfort by allowing each row to have individualized temperature settings. A quiet cabin is so much more relaxing, and Chevrolet installed acoustic laminate glass to dampen road and wind noise even if you’re traveling at higher speeds. Best of all, the Suburban’s Premium Smooth Ride suspension also contributes to an enjoyable ride.
Other standard comfort and convenience features on this trim level include a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers, and IntelliBeam headlights. Also, the wrapped steering wheel holds controls for the Driver Information Center, Forward Collision Alert, and cruise control.
Performance
The Suburban’s lowest LS trim has a standard 5.3-liter V8 engine, delivering 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The entire lineup has standard rear-wheel drive, but 4-wheel drive is available for all models.
Keyless start, hill start assistance, hitch guidance, and trailer sway control are all standard. The remote start function allows you to turn on the Suburban’s engine and pre-heat or pre-cool the vehicle before entering. Once the engine’s started, you can also control the door locks and parking lights.
Technology
Even the 2024 Suburban’s base model has all the standard technology features you might need to enjoy your road time, such as a 6-speaker audio system and a three-month free trial of SiriusXM. The dashboard also has a 4.2-inch color Driver Information Center and a color HD touchscreen to control the Chevrolet’s Infotainment 3 System. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability are all standard. Bluetooth connectivity with voice-activated commands provides wireless hands-free calling and audio streaming for two devices.
The front row has two USB data ports: one is USB-A and the other is USB-C. Two USB-C charging ports are also found in each of the second and third rows. Three years of OnStar Remote Access is also included.
