2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD

Are you looking for a heavy-duty pickup that can take on your tough work projects and biggest off-road adventures? The 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD could be exactly what you need!

Power

The standard engine on the Chevy Silverado 2500 is a 6.6L V8 gas engine that offers 401 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 464 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. To get the most out of your truck, you can upgrade to the available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. This engine provides 470 horsepower at 2800 rpm and 975 lb.-ft. of torque at 1600 rpm, with a maximum towing capacity of 22,070 pounds.

Exterior

The Chevy Silverado 2500 is built with a wide range of exterior features that make all of your tasks easier, including the steel Durabed and CornerStep bumper. The Durabed is made with high-strength steel that can take on all materials, while the CornerStep rear bumper uses hollow, textured spaces to provide more stability for your feet when climbing into the bed.

The Silverado 2500 comes with a Chevrolet Trailering Package that has everything you need for the towing process from start to finish. This includes a standard hitch, a receiver hitch, an electrical harness, and the Hitch Guidance feature. Hitch Guidance uses a rear-vision camera to let you view your trailer and hitch during the attachment process and while you drive.

Seating

Pickups in the Silverado lineup have 6-passenger seating across two bench seats. The front bench is a 40/20/40 split with forward/back and up/down controls for the driver and outboard passenger. The back seat is a 60/40 split bench that can be folded upward if you need cargo room on the floor.

Technology

The 2025 Silverado 2500 HD comes with a 7-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system that has built-in smartphone integration. Using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, you can connect your smartphone to the truck and make hands-free phone calls as you drive. The LT and higher trims feature a 13.4-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium System with Google built-in.

Safety

The Silverado 2500 is one of the safest pickups on the market, with a wide range of safety features that include Buckle to Drive and OnStar Basics. Buckle to Drive blocks you from shifting the truck out of PARK unless your seatbelt is fastened, while OnStar Basics provides essential emergency resources like remote commands and Automatic Crash Response.

There are plenty of assistive safety features in the Silverado 2500, including Front Pedestrian Braking and Lane Departure Warning. Front Pedestrian Braking monitors your path and activates the hard brakes when a pedestrian is detected. Lane Departure Warning alerts you when it detects your truck drifting into another lane.
